Founded in 1992, the CBM Group is a general management consulting firm specialized in the financial services industry. Our goal is to help leading financial institutions create and sustain the competitive advantages necessary to thrive in the global marketplace.

OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Prior to founding the CBM Group, he was a senior partner of Oliver, Wyman & Co., a Vice-President and shareholder of Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Inc., a manager with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He began his career as an analyst for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

Mr. Cappon graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a B.Sc. in Mathematics and from Columbia University, with an M.S. in Operations Research. He is fluent in English, French, Romanian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Aida Chinloy is director at The CBM Group

Prior to joining the CBM Group in 2008, she was a Vice President in the Public Infrastructure Group of Goldman Sachs, a Principal of Crae International, an international finance consulting firm, and a Managing Director in the Public Finance Division of Merrill Lynch. She started her career as a junior accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Ms. Chinloy received her M.B.A. from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and her B.A. in Economics from the University of the Philippines. She received her C.P.A. license from the State of New York. She is fluent in English and Tagalog.

Prior to founding the CBM Group, he was a mergers and acquisitions specialist at the Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) and a manager with Oliver Wyman & Co.

Mr. Manuel graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he received a Ph.D. in Mathematics and the Harvard Business School. He is fluent in English, French and has a working knowledge of German and Portuguese.

Prior to joining the CBM Group in 2000, he was a Credit Risk analyst at U.S. leading credit insurance company Euler Hermes American Credit Indemnity (Allianz Group).

Mr. Mignot received his M.B.A. in Finance from the City University of New York, Baruch College (Zicklin School of Business). He is also a graduate from the Université Paris IX Dauphine in Paris, France. He is fluent in English and French.

Prior to joining the CBM Group in 2017, he was a Senior Manager at TMX Montreal Exchange.

Mr. Bitton received his M.S. from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He is also a graduate from the Florida International University. He is fluent in English and French.

Kevin Mellyn is senior advisor at The CBM Group

Mr. Mellyn has over twenty years experience as a consultant to financial services companies. He was a founding partner of The Mitchell Madison Group, joining as an original member of the financial services practice at A. T. Kearney. Previously, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. He began his career in the International Division of Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company where he held a series of relationship management and strategic planning positions between 1975 and 1989. Mr. Mellyn graduated from Harvard College and received his Masters Degree in History from the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
